Privacy

Revue is a personal taste diary. Your ratings are private: only you can see them. We don’t show ads, don’t use analytics or tracking, and never sell or share your data.

What we store

  • Your account: your email address, the username you choose and a display name. If you sign in with Google, we also receive your name and profile picture from Google. We never see your Google password.
  • What you add: the things, places and categories you create, and your ratings with their scores, prices, dates and notes.
  • Preferences: score display, currency, theme and first day of the week.

Cookies and local storage

Revue uses a sign-in cookie to keep you signed in and a cookie with your time zone so dates match your day. Your browser also remembers a few interface choices, such as a collapsed sidebar, on your device. The installable app caches its own code, fonts and images for speed, never your ratings.

Where your data lives

Your data is stored in a database run by Supabase in Frankfurt, Germany. The app is served by Vercel, and sign-in emails are sent through Resend. These providers process data only to run Revue. Access to the database is restricted so that every account can read and change only its own data.

Your control

In Settings › Data you can export everything as JSON or your ratings as CSV at any time, delete all your data, or delete your account. Deleting your account permanently removes your ratings, things, places, categories and profile.
